I don't know if this counts as a true dump. Only two pieces here, done for the Paradox-o-rama contests for the past 3 weeks.

Seriously guys, the competition was nothing short of epic, and I really hope they do some sort of round-up post, but that would be a herculean task for the mods, I think. There's been murmurings about the activity at sheldon_penny  having died down recently, but I'm like, have you seen all the fic from paradox-o-rama Fiction Fridays?! I am still reading through and commenting.

+ My paradox-o-rama team totally came from last place in the first week to WIN Session 1. I'm still in shock, frankly. Our motto has proved true: BLOSSOMS NEVER SAY WILT!

I can't help but speculate that he people complaining about the lack of activity aren't the same people producing fan materials. Sure it's good to come home after a long day and see a fic by one of your favorite writers in the flist queue, but I realize that people have lives and more important obligations. I've realized that interacting in fandom is a very serious hobby of mine, but it's a hobby, nonetheless. People aren't obligated to produce anything and they're definitely not making a living from it. I (and many others) have harped on the importance of feedback/concrit, so I'm not going to go back there except to say that it does help when people comment and say, "hey, I like this." I know it seems kind of crazy how prolific I can be sometimes. Most of the time I'm just trying to create a visual treat for the viewers, or to say to an author, hey, thanks for painting this amazing picture with words. :)

And then there's bigbangbigbang  coming up. I'm signed up as an artist and I'm really eager to see what every one has been working on. All this is to say that the fandom hasn't died down. Sure, I was disgusted with the BBT season 3 finale. Thank goodness for the awesome fandom because I would have been so through.

I wrote all these for the Paradox-o-rama: Fiction #2 Challange @ sheldon_penny . There was an End of the World drabble prompt table. I've never written anything in that genre before, so...this is what came out. Some Most of these were written in a very short period of time. It was a race, ok? But I have gone and tweaked a few.

I can't commit to full-on bleak post-apocalyptic outcome. Is there a such thing as a realistic optimist? 'Cause that would be me. For the most part, my take on these scenarios ranges from "dude, that's so not gonna happen" to "someone else wrote this already and so much better."

Notes: I'm not going to complain about how hard this was for me to draw and how it didn't come out quite like I wanted. Or how I initially imagined this is too similar to something that I drew earlier this week but must keep under wraps for now. Just imagine that Penny is standing on her toes.

Notes: My first attempt that this involved Penny and Sheldon playing Wii, and then Penny licking Sheldon on the neck to distract him and allow her to win the game. So...that's not completely out of the question to draw later (I started on it), but, as a rule, I've been drawing all of these on 5.5"x8.5" sheets of card stock to limit how ambitious I get with the drawings and so they will all be of equal quality. Hope you're happy with this instead Jak(ai?) (and K.). :)
