This still needs to be colored, but procrastination walked hand in hand with me this week, so...

ETA: I haven't completed the colored version to my satisfaction. I'll try to get it posted by this weekend; I can't in good conscience deprive y'all of the hideousness of Sheldon's sweater. :)  I do like how the crosshatching looks.

ETA | 09.15.2010: I got the colored version "done" after all. I'm not a great colorist, but my art tends to pop more with it, so... :)

I am sorry that it took so long to leave a proper comment, but work was being quite difficult.

Plus we got a new overhead scanner and my joy knows no bounds. No, really. The thing is the shit.

Anyways, I love Penny with the glasses and the lace on her camisole. She looks so very gorgeous. I have been peering at the white blocks, trying to decipher them. My guess is either mysterious emoticons or the background is a city skyline. I'm lining towards emoticons because the one in the middle looks like a soda cup w/ a straw or an exclamation point, depending on how I squint. The fic has not yet been posted so I must wait to find out the True Meaning.

Also, I think that Sheldon's profile is one of the best I've ever seen you do. It invokes Jimmy P. without being Jimmy P. In addition, I like the way you colored it, with Sheldon's eyes not quite matching his shirt (it makes them pop) and the stripe on his sweater echoing Penny's cardigan.

Now I must go and wrassle with the government doc microfiche. I am overjoyed. Now I'm being sarcastic. For realz.

Well, I can tell you that's it not emoticons, but glowing consoles. Though, I may have completely failed at conveying that. Anyway, the fic is AU, which is the bane of your wonderful existence, but I urge you to give the story a chance; I think you may like this one. ;) Like, there's this one scene that I still want to draw, and may eventually, because it's just sooooooooooo Sheldon/Penny...

But, yes, I'm glad you like this. :)

Anyways, I refuse to believe that they are consoles. I have chosen to believe that it is the Soda Cup of All Knowledge, Complete with Straw. Its Presence indicates a Great Destiny.

And I cannot read that which is not posted, but I will, just for you. Also, like the rifle was so insanely awesome, I am now predisposed to try the s/p BBBBs. It was THAT GOOD.

Oh yes, "Like the Rifle" was friggin' amazing (the soundtrack is great, too), and I don't even watch Supernatural. I had confidence that damalur would write it so that it was accessible to nonviewers and she did it a phenomenal job.

Finally I can comment! This is so gorgeous, I can't even tell you. I love Sheldon - it might be the best profile I've seen you do of him yet.

The cross-hatching might be my favorite part. And the colored version is even better! Penny's skin-tone is great, and I like the shade you chose for her hair. The glasses, I like the glasses a lot. It's a nice touch for AU!Penny.

You even got the hint of Sheldon's undershirt in there! Thank you again x a frajillionty for picking up this pinch-hit. I'm so thrilled you did <3

Absolutely gorgeous. Not being terribly well versed in art, I'm not sure if I'm saying this the right way, but I love your drawings not only stylistically, but also because you always convey a sense that something is going on beyond static characters on a page. I like that it seems as though Penny's just discovering how much time she's going to spend corralling her new partner.

So excited to see one of my favorite authors teamed up with one of my favorite artists!
