More like a hobby, I suppose. My LiveJournal account is dedicated strictly to fandom and my art musings therein. I do crosspost my art to my RL journal occasionally, but for the most part I try to keep the two things separate.

I usually don't laugh at a lame joke, unless it's so lame that it's amusing. Usually I'll say something like, "Wow," all Sheldon style. :)

Started this over a month ago but couldn't get it going. I was toying with the idea that Sheldon had been kissed before, more than once, but never had an experience that sparked a desire to do it again with that same person. So, here, it's him and Lalita Gupta. The ideas here kind of evolved into "The Caffeine High Corollary."

I wrote a Sheldon/Penny ficlet yesterday, and it totally sucks. There are good bits here and there, but, reading over it now....*sigh* I suppose s'what happens when you write stuff at work when you're supposed to be working.

Des'ree (1968) - Singer. She totally sang the theme song for The Next Karate Kid movie w/ Hilary Swank.
Bo Jackson (1962) - Athlete: football/baseball, Alabama
Billy Idol (1955) - Musician, "Rebe yell!"
June Pointer (1953-2006) - Singer ("I'm So Excited")
Mandy Patinkin (1952) - Actor. "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." :)
Ridley Scott (1937) - Acclaimed director. Black Hawk Down comes to mind.
Dick Clark (1929) - TV/radio personality. God, he's old.
Robert Guillaume (1927) - Wow. He's older. I recognize him of voicing Rafiki in Disney's The Lion King.
Eugene Walter (1921-1998) - A famous playwright born in my hometown.
Gordon Parks (1912-2006) - Famous photographer. I only learned about him right before he died, back when I was finishing up school.

Yet another thing to remind of how much farther from youth I'm getting. I just turned 26 about 18 days ago. :P
