WIPs currently residing in my WIP folder: 4

My favorite story of 2008: "With Kid Gloves" and "The Caffeine High Corollary"

Biggest surprise: I actually won an Isis Award for "Parallax" and "Making Up the Past". So now I'm an award-winning fan fiction writer. :P

Most difficult story: "With Kid Kid Gloves," because it was an AU so far removed from the SGA characters (John ran a daycare center). "The Expert Diversion" was so hard just for getting Sheldon and Penny right and making the kiss believable. I nearly gave up on that story, but my betas helped a great deal.

Best fangirl moment: Winning an Isis Award, because it was voted on by my peers and I was in competition with some amazing writers.

Second-best fangirl moment: Just collaborating with the people at [livejournal.com profile] sheldon_penny , especially over the summer.

What I'm most proud of: I'm proud that I got as much writing done as I did. I only planned to finish up the stories I had hanging, which, unfortunately, are still unfinished. I wrote AU, and I wrote from Sheldon Cooper's point-of-view rather successfully.

Things I learned about writing in 2009: That immediate gratification is not the most important thing. Sometimes you need to mull over a story and fix some things before sharing and/or posting.

With certain characters, it takes time to get their voices right. You shouldn't be afraid to try writing a character because you're afraid of getting them wrong. You'll only know if you try. Granted it takes some work to get into some character's heads, like Sheldon Cooper.

Status of WIPs: I write as the muse moves me.

Writing goals/hopes/plans for 2010: Finish my novel and get a draft that isn't completely horrid and all over the place with plot. I hope to finish Back Home and Left Behind, too. I'm not as optimistic that the latter will get done, though. :/

This will probably get me shot but I don't watch Big Bang Theory, so I'm missing your ficage. Hope the muse moves you my way. ;)

Aw. I haven't given up on SGA, it's just been really hard to write it for the past few months.

It's fine if you don't watch Big Bang Theory but you're missing out. ;)
