Notes: This is for evening_shadow  for her donation during the help_haiti  drawing. She requested that I just illustrate something from one of her fics. I chose to do something for "Finding the Proper Tense." This was supposed to be just simple, unshaded line art that I would then ink. My muse seemed to have other plans. *sigh* This will be colored, too, but that will take a while, and things are going to be busy for the next week or so. I'm puttin up the pencils for now. It will also give me time to stare at it and find any glaring errors. At one point, Penny's hand in that top panel only had three fingers.

This is breathtaking - truly! Fabulous work! I especially love the details but my fave is Sheldon's hand as he's cupping Penny's face. Just something about his watch hidden by her curls. So much love!!!

You know, I really like adding Sheldon's watch detail. It's just one of those things I always have to remember to put in...and I see now that it's missing in the second panel.

I meant to write that I love the way you laid it out. It's like she's looking at him, experiencing that moment of deja vu, and all those other scenes flash through her head in that brief instance of time. However, if you've never read the fic, you can create all these alternate narratives. A day in the life, a fight, the first date, etc.

You know what would be really cool? If you did another piece, or even used this one, and challenged the comm to write fics based on the art. I'd be interested to see what gets produced.

I really like this idea. I'm actually participating in the exact thing with trekreversebang. Maybe I could crop off the top (because it's so specific to your fic) and submit the bottom 3 panels and see what ideas people think of.

This is amazing! Penny in the second panel is perfect, so realistic. My favourite part is the hug, something about the way his arm is around her arm and her waist, I dunno but I stared at it forever!! :D

I love this so much! "Finding the Proper Tense" is my favorite P/S one-shot EVER, and seeing it illustrated so perfectly just adds to the wondrousness. I love those scenes, where we finally get the kiss and where they're on the sofa together and when Sheldon tries the eggs -- and you caught it all. Thanks for drawing/sharing this!
