Notes: So there's been a lot of art and fandom ficage that's being posted on sheldon_penny  to help people who are bummed about potential spoilers. I'm over it, the being bummed, I mean. It's like a cycle. Spoilers come out and people, especially the newbies, get a little depressed. It's understandable, but I'm learned to reserve my judgement/opinion until I've actually seen the episode. Life's a lot less stressful that way. ;)

misskoum  has been posting quite a bit of wonderfully inspiring line art lately. I got to thinking and wanted to draw something with Sheldon and Penny and tangle of limbs...or something. Then I started imagining how Sheldon would respond if Penny just glomped him, like, where would his hands go and such... Seems pretty obvious, yeah, but with Sheldon, more basic things never are.

I really like drawing Penny's hair.

And Sheldon's forearms. And watch.

I had this whole scene play out in my mind where Penny glomps him and then Sheldon's instinctual reaction is to put his hands under her butt for support, but he's not comfortable with that action, so his hand kind of stay raised at his sides, not sure what to do. Then Penny starts to slide down his body a bit, and he settled on putting his hand under her upper thigh for support...

LOL. Yeah, I thought about it that much. :P

I really, really like this! There's something ever so slightly off about the proportions, though, like Penny's head is slightly too big or something. I can't place it exactly; it's either her head being too big, or her legs being a little too small... Might just be me!

Yeah, I see what you mean. I suspected it, too, after staring at it for so long, but I wasn't sure if it was me and if it was so much as to be glaring. Then I figured that Penny isn't actually a very tiny person, so with her and Sheldon's upper bodies being about on the same level now and him not towering over her, it's hard to judge.

I love how in balance this is! It doesn´t look like they´re about to topple over, which sometimes can be the case with poses like these..Also, I like the fact that they aren´t actually kissing, that way you kinda just stare at them, waiting for it to happen. Suspension, that´s the word! ^^

BTW, I think our muses must be having tea parties together, because I´m also sketching on a scene feat. S/P making out, although luckily enough it´s not exactly the same scenario as misskoum or you pictured. I think I´ll just leave it in my drawer for a rainy day or the next outbreak of mass depression caused by spoilers.

Years of practice is finally paying off. Probably the only thing I like more than drawing clothes is just nude figure drawing with a live model, but I haven't been able to do that since I got out of school. :/
