I was wondering about this detail that I've noticed in two different fics now.

I was pretty sure that the totem Ariadne made for herself was a bishop chess piece. However, I've read two stories where it's a pawn. The pieces are very distinctive (I remember her using the lathe die cut the slant in the top), so I'm wondering if anyone who's seen the film more than once (*cough* fujiidom  *cough*) can confirm which one  it is.

General consensus here is it was a pawn? I actually thought that small detail scene of her working on the piece was her doing something to the bottom, not the top, but I don't want to state definitively that it is a pawn over a bishop. I also remember the top being rounder than a bishop, but yeah, it might be up to fujiidom here.

Hmm. Thanks for the input. :) I will be seeing the movie again, but I was so sure it was a Bishop. So, it would be weird if it turns out to be a pawn.

My memory says bishop (mainly because of the height), but I also thought she was doing something to the bottom.

Cool. I'm reading a story now where it's a bishop. A pawn just seems too cliche'.
