art: "Unscripted" [G] . F/A . Inception
Dec. 12th, 2010 08:02 pmTitle: Unscripted
Artist:
renisanz
Medium: Pencil, Photoshop CS2
Rating: G
Warning/Spoilers: Spoilers for the end of this part of the fic.
Disclaimer: The pencil lines are my own.
Notes: Inspired by a scene from All That We Keep (Part III) by

Teaser:

From my art one might conclude that I ship Ariadne with practically everyone. I don't. However, I am extremely intrigued by the idea of her and Fischer having some sort of relationship after the inception. This scene was pretty cool. I would have loved to have drawn brooding/lurking!Arthur in the background, but I'm sick.
.
Feedback is lovely. :)

Teaser:

His hand slips into his right hand pants pocket in search of his cellphone to call Saito, when Fischer grabs Ariadne's arm and pulls her back to him.
He can only watch in silence, whatever he was going to tell Saito dying in his throat, as Fischer bends down a little and gives Ariadne a small, soft kiss on her surprised lips. He sees Ariadne's stunned expression and Fisher's almost embarrassed but slightly triumphant smile that he gives her.

Date: 2010-12-13 02:24 am (UTC)So I went off-tangent a little bit--I'm sorry. XD I'm in love with how you drew them, and also getting Ariadne's bishop and Fischer's pinwheel in there as well. All your drawings have been really lovely! <3

Date: 2010-12-13 05:26 am (UTC)I haven't seen Peacock but I did read about it a few months ago. I'll have to see if it's available for rental on Netflix or something, because the story looked interesting. :)

Date: 2010-12-13 02:58 am (UTC)The detail with Robert grabbing her wrist like that is just fantastic---even without reading the story (and before I made it to the excerpt), it was clear that he was pulling her back to him.
So, so lovely. And the detail with Ariadne's bishop and Fischer's pinwheel is just adorable. There needs to be more of these two!

Date: 2010-12-13 05:24 am (UTC)Thank you so much. It's good to hear you say that particularly because I was worried whether it looked as if Robert was being too forceful or not. So now I know that I achieved what I was going for. :)
The bishop and pinwheel were an afterthought. I drew them separated on the same page as Ariadne and Fischer. Then I made them overlap and gave them their current placement using Photoshop. Glad all that worked out, too. :)
I do try to try to get the pencil lines as clear and clean as I can before scanning and posting, and then I clean up a bit of the remaining sketchiness, also in Photoshop.
SQUEEEEEEEE!
Date: 2010-12-13 01:46 pm (UTC)OMG.
Let me just say I love this. And uh, Fischer's back of his head is sexy. (I know, of all the things to fixate on). I enjoy the wrist grab, how Ariadne seems to be watching Fischer (because she is!) AND the pinwheel/bishop detail.
You are making me just want to ramp up the angst... oh yes.

Date: 2010-12-14 02:00 pm (UTC)I've also come to the (obvious) realization that all of the men in this movie are way HOT. Does that make is easier/more difficult to draw?
Re: SQUEEEEEEEE!
Date: 2010-12-15 07:51 am (UTC)I'm just to the point where I'm getting Ariadne's facial features to my liking. Some people are easier to draw than others. I try to pick up the little nuances. For some reason, JGL was very easy in getting the likeness, even from my earlier drawing of Arthur.
