potential NT fic

Hey y'all.

I was recently (and viciously) attacked by another plot bunny.

Are any of you fans of the National Treasure movies? Personally, I like the first one best. My point is, I've really wanted to read a good fic featuring the character Riley Poole, but I haven't found any, yet.

So, I would really like to write one. However, I don't know much about history (American history anyway, like, I can't name all the presidents or anything, though I'm pretty good with random facts, and I loved learning about the history of civilization in 7th grade.). :( I do, though, live in a very historic (and very old: 300+ years, with live oaks lining the streets, wrought iron on the architecture) city in which I plan to set most of the action. I've already thought up a female lead to be Riley's partner in crime as they try to solve some kind of awesome myster. I just have to figure out what that mystery will be. Her name's Rani. . .and I just now realized that it very much rhymes with Riley. It'll make a good joke, I suppose. *shrug*

I basically want to know if anyone would be interesting in reading.  . . way, in the future, after I get my other fics wrapped up. Well, this is me, we're talking about, so it may see light before then.

I love the National Treasure series. :D I adore the first one, but the second one...eh, not so much. But I loved that the second one took them to South Dakota since we never get any love from Hollywood.

I'd be interested in reading some Riley fic. He's just too awesome.
