Ronon/Keller in Season 5

A few weeks back someone posted a link to photos from JM's blog that they felt were evidence that McKay and Keller would end up together by the end of season 5.
The photos were from the episode "Brainstorm" in which McKay and Keller are attending some sort of scientific conference, and Keller might have been Rodney's "date." But there was nothing in the photos to indicate this. All it showed was them standing next to each other drinking wine and talking.
I also happened to read a spoiler on the episode "Identity," which I think is slotted to be the 18th one to air. Basically, Keller and switches bodies with this woman who is a thief, but no one is aware of it but them. So, they have to carry on like playing the role of the person whose body they are in until they can find a way to get back to the alien device that switched them in the first place. According to Gateworld, at one point, the thief who is in Keller's body attempts to seduce Rodney into taking her on a ride in the Jumper so that she can get off Atlantis. Now, I would think that if Jen and Rodney were in a relationship, there'd be no point in her trying to seduce him. She could just ask him to take her somewhere. However, since it's another person in Jen's body, one might argue that she could not know that Jen and Rodney were in a relationship.
And I have no idea where I'm going with this. What spawned this post was seeing these recent photos from JM's blog which are behind-the-scenes from Identity. The actress with Jason is the one playing the thief, and she's dressed in Keller uniform. It looks like they may have been going over some lines, which means, at least, possibly, Ronon and Jennifer would have some scenes together in the episode, even if she's in someone else has her body. Would she try to seduce Ronon, as well?
I suppose my point is that I'm pretty open-minded as far as how the supposed "love triangle" play out by the end of the season. My secret hope is that in the very least, she doesn't end up with McKay, and things are left open. Then my muse would survive and I'd still be able to write fic about the possibilities of her and Ronon and all their babies. :)

Date: 2008-08-29 02:09 am (UTC)I think you're right that if Rodney and Jennifer were in a relationship that she wouldn't have to do anything to get him to do her bidding...I don't know if that's the word I'm looking for but eh...close enough. I do like this idea, and actually, it made me feel a little better about things so you get a "Yay!" from me.

Date: 2008-08-29 02:36 am (UTC)I was wondering if anyone read the entry, as I debated on posting it altogether, but I figured in the end it was good to share the optimism. And now I see that it did help. Still have to wait and see how the end of the season plays out, but I remain ever-hopeful. :)
