Hmm . . .

Well, let's just say that SGA canon as far as Ronon and Keller's relationship has ended for me with "The Lost Tribe." I still can't help but be interested to see how the show ends, but geez. Sea of mediocrity and no follow-through is right. I can't begin to start on how TPTB "resolved" the Michael storyline. Granted, I really enjoyed the episode to a point, and Connor's performance was amazing, as always. And I knew there was a reason I secretly *hearted* Amelia.

*sigh*

My brain hurts just trying to wrap my mind around how the writers justified the direction they chose to take with the show. : /

And I should so be writing my novel right now. :( Or sleeping.

Exactly!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that thinks that way, because seriously, I'm not loving it. I think though it's safe to say that anything I write again about R/K won't be using canon, or using it, just in a way upon which I prefer to use it.

Yeah. I'll have to wait til I'm done with NaNo to fully see what the damage is.

Agree on all points. I still watch the show for continuity, and we're so close to the finale, but I'm terribly disappointed with the way it's panning out--and that's with more than just the death of my preferred ship.

Thanks. I'm usually not one to get worked up over such things, but the McKeller thing just seems so fundamentally wrong, with no build up and completely unfounded declarations of love. :/ And like you said, it's more than just the death of my ship. I've still been able to enjoy most of the episodes. It's a strange duality.
