Notes: An art prize for htbthomas  who asked for "Sheldon reading lines with Penny for an audition." Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I tried to put as shippy of a spin on it as possible. This was hard, and the only way I could think to express it was in sequentials. I hope this fits well enough.

Apparently, I can't get enough of Sheldon giving Penny smoldering looks and just shocking the heck out of her in general. ^_^

There's a bit of fail going on with the quality on this, particularly with the last panel. My scanner is out of commission at the moment and I wanted to get this done, so I went with photographing the pencils. I'll update with a better version as soon as I can. 08.10.2009: Updated with scanned pencils.

Oh, this is terrific! I especially like the face cupping. It seems very Sheldon-like and deliberate. And his watch ...for whatever reason. He's given me a thing for watches (because God knows ~Quinto already made me question their hotness, already), IDEK. Awesomeness!

Oh yay! Glad to hear the last panel worked for you, because I had a few other lines I thought about using. That one seemed to fit the best, I think, with Sheldon pointing out the "mess" Penny has just made.

I figured you'd want Sheldon and Penny to be interacting in some way rather than just simply standing/sitting there reading, and really, the latter wouldn't have been as much fun/challenging to draw. :) I do try to get as much as possible in my drawing or convey a specific feeling.

And of course, if it inspires fic, that's a bonus. :)

*stretches* oohhh yeah. That made my night. I can go to sleep now. No more late night Paradox browsing! I always stay up just that little bit later to read ONE more fic, ONE more icon. Thank you. At first I used reference pictures, because frankly, drawing peoples faces smushed together is hard. And then you have to get the people to look like themselves. It just takes practice. :)
