Ok. I know I'm insane to say this, but I really don't know how to feel about this drawing (foreshortening and perspective issues aside).

I've been mulling over what exactly to draw for them for about two weeks, trying to come up with some kind of storyline in my head. There's so little backstory available for Amara and Trennan, so I didn't have much to go on. Enter my imagination coming up with slightly younger version of Amara and Trennan, where she's not completely consumed with power—just yet—and Trennan hasn't given over his left eye to the Sect.

Without the eyepiece, though, Trennan just doesn't look like himself, but more like Volker from Stargate Universe. They both like to wear vests, I guess.

There's a fic in here somewhere.

I've never heard of this fandom before, but I really love how you drew Amara.

You should definitely check this show out. If you're a fan of steampunk/fantasy + various SciFi actors, you will enjoy it. Granted I first saw the show back when it was only posted on YouTube and didn't have SyFy as a distributor. They've changed the format of the episodes quite a bit (and personally, I liked the orignal version better, without the narration).

Thanks. I was rather uncertain about the vines, since I only added them as an afterthought and to have some sort of frame around them. I'm so lazy with backgrounds. :P

This is amazing! You are so talented! I am glad you went with the eyepiece. I think thats part of the sexy. Or it is for me anyway. I like that Amara is sitting with her legs curled up too. It's such a girly thing to do around a boy. It says she is comfortable yet still hiding a piece of herself. I think it is adorable. Their faces look just like them. I am impressed and in awe of your work. I really need more Trennan and Amara. I hope this series goes somewhere. I really hope your muse hits again. I would love to see some more Trennan! :) As you know I have a wee crush. ;)

Thanks for the feedback. It was really hard trying to figure out how to make their body convention to convey what I wanted to say about their relationship. There's definitely some familiarity that's apparent in the way that Trennan both addresses and looks at Amara. Glad to know that the drawing conveys that. :)

Patrick Gilmore really brings the character to life. ;)
