art: "Missing You, Kissing You" [colored]

Well, to mitigate the shockingly awful news (yeah right) . . .
Last night I slapped some color on the original pencils of "Missing You, Kissing You." I like the final result alright. I used the same technique I developed when coloring "Naptime" with satisfactory results.

A pretty simple coloring job, but I like it overall. I wish I was better (i.e, less lazy) at doing backgrounds, but this will have to do for now. If I find a nice enough reference pic of the Gateroom at the appropriate angle, I may go back and add more detail.
Thanks for looking. :)

Wonderful job.
On a separate note, how are you doing?

Date: 2008-08-21 05:50 am (UTC)I'm doing ok. My mind is kinda fried atm, though. I never knew beta'ing would take such a toll on me. I suppose it's because I take it rather seriously, so if I find something that doesn't work with the plot, I try really hard to give suggestions on how the author might fix it. And even then, they can take it or leave it.
Real life is just ok, though. I'm managing. Creating things takes the edge off. :)
How are you, hon?
