art: "Missing You, Kissing You" [colored]

Well, to mitigate the shockingly awful news (yeah right) . . .

Last night I slapped some color on the original pencils of "Missing You, Kissing You." I like the final result alright. I used the same technique I developed when coloring "Naptime" with satisfactory results.

Preview:

A pretty simple coloring job, but I like it overall. I wish I was better (i.e, less lazy) at doing backgrounds, but this will have to do for now. If I find a nice enough reference pic of the Gateroom at the appropriate angle, I may go back and add more detail.

I suppose so. :) I do rather like that the figures are in the forefront, and I like that the space between Jen's arms and their chins meet forms a nice little heart. :)
